Student conduct rules and regulations, 1859-1862.

The rules and regulations required student labor at the college; forbade drinking, firearms, obscene language, use of tobacco, visiting on the Sabbath, leaving campus during class hours, playing instruments during certain hours, defacing college property; and held students financially responsible for damages. Penalty was admonition and expulsion.
